FBO with Part 135 charter and aircraft management at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport, Atlanta
Aero Center Atlanta is a fixed-base operator at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK) in Chamblee, on the north-east side of Atlanta, Georgia. It was long known as Epps Aviation, a family business that began at the airport in 1965. The Aero Center FBO chain, led by SAR Trilogy, announced its purchase in January 2023 and later renamed it.
The purchase included the Epps Part 135 charter operation and its Part 145 maintenance and avionics shops. Aero Center's site for the location lists private air charter, its own 'Fly Your Way' charter programme and aircraft management, along with maintenance, avionics installation and parts.
As an FBO, the site is open 24 hours and offers fuel (Jet A and 100LL), hangar and ramp parking, catering, concierge help, rental and crew cars, a pilot lounge and a conference room. PDK is Georgia's second-busiest airport after Hartsfield-Jackson, and its traffic is mostly general and business aviation.
The company reports a team of about 150, and all 150 Epps employees were to be kept on after the sale. The site displays NATA Safety 1st and CAA Preferred FBO logos. The charter fleet and the operator's safety audit status are not listed, so flyers should ask for them when requesting a quote.
