Charter and aviation advisory firm at Hanover County Airport near Richmond, Virginia
Stabo Aviation LLC is an aviation services company located at Hanover County Municipal Airport in Ashland, Virginia, north of Richmond. Its website names Jeff Hawthorne as president and lists the Richmond, Charlottesville and Washington, DC areas as places it serves.
The company offers private aircraft charter, but its website does not list an owned fleet or an operating certificate, so charter flights are presumably arranged with third-party operators. Its advisory work covers aircraft purchases and sales, choosing an aircraft management company, fractional ownership and block-hour proposals, crew and maintenance staffing, and outsourced charter support.
Stabo also runs a media business offering aerial drone and conventional photography and video production. The website states that the team has 30 years of general aviation experience and lists memberships of NBAA, NATA and AUVSI. Flyers should ask which operator will fly any quoted charter trip.
