Aerial filming helicopters, drones and camera systems from Denham, near London
Helicopter Film Services (HFS) is an aerial cinematography company based at Denham Aerodrome, just west of London near Uxbridge. Its founder is Jeremy Braben, a former cameraman who became a helicopter pilot. The company says it has about 30 years of experience in aerial filming, and a third-party listing gives 1993 as its founding year.
Its main business is aerial filming for feature films, TV drama, broadcast, commercials, music videos and corporate clients. It supplies helicopters, drones and gyro-stabilised camera systems along with related equipment such as gimbals, camera arrays, video links and helicopter mounts. Its website lists credits including Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Jurassic World Dominion and Slow Horses.
An American Society of Cinematographers article mentions an Airbus AS355 used by HFS. A third-party listing says HFS also has an aviation arm offering helicopter and jet charter, leasing and aviation management, but this was not confirmed on the company's own site.
Flyers looking for passenger transport should treat HFS mainly as a specialist filming operator and ask the company directly whether it offers charter.
