Victor

Victor is a private jet charter company headquartered in London. It was founded in 2011 by entrepreneur Clive Jackson and built its business around an online and app-based booking platform for on-demand charter flights.

The platform lets customers search, compare and book private flights, with flights carried out by aircraft operators rather than an in-house fleet. Crunchbase describes Victor as a marketplace that connects flyers directly with aircraft operators, so it should be treated as a booking intermediary that arranges flights with third-party operators.

Press coverage from 2016 described the service as free to join, without upfront or annual membership fees, and supported by a round-the-clock customer service team. At that time the company also listed offices in New York, Santa Barbara and Munich alongside London.

Victor raised venture funding over several rounds, including a Series B in 2016 that was partly crowdfunded, and a 2017 round led by BP Ventures. In December 2023 UK Aviation News reported that Victor had been acquired by an Abu Dhabi-based aviation investment group, which was not named. The same report noted that Victor offered sustainable aviation fuel on every booking.
