FLYT

FLYT, the trading name of FLYT Aviation Ltd, is a helicopter charter booking service based in London. Its website lists an office at 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A.

The company launched its digital booking platform in 2018. Trade publication Helicopter Investor reported at launch that customers enter journey details, the platform estimates cost and flight time, and the request goes to suitable UK helicopter operators in turn until one accepts. The founders named at launch were helicopter pilot Andy King and James Palmer, a co-founder of SaxonAir.

FLYT does not present itself as an aircraft operator. Flights are arranged with third-party UK helicopter operators, and the website does not name a fleet or an operating certificate of its own.

Its website promotes helicopter charter generally as well as packages for events such as the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Royal Ascot, the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Cheltenham Festival, plus golf trips. Booking is a three-step process ending with flight options and prices sent by email.
