Helicopter charter and pilot training at Goodwood Aerodrome, West Sussex, UK
Elite Helicopters is a UK helicopter charter and flight training company established in 1995. It works from Goodwood Aerodrome near Chichester, West Sussex, and is closely tied to events on the Goodwood Estate.
Charter work covers business and private transfers, sightseeing and pleasure flights, filming and photography, corporate flying days and wedding hire. The company flies event charters to major UK fixtures, including the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Goodwood events, Cheltenham, the Derby and Royal Ascot, and it runs temporary heliports at special events.
On the training side it offers trial lessons and courses for the PPL(H), LAPL(H) and CPL(H), flight instructor ratings, advanced ratings and self-fly hire for hour building. The website says it has a range of training and charter helicopters but does not list types or numbers on its homepage.
Elite Helicopters describes its training as CAA approved. Flyers booking charter should confirm which aircraft and operating certificate will be used for their trip.
