Altair Helicopter Charter

Altair Charter, also listed as Altair Helicopter Charter, is a UK private helicopter charter business associated with London Elstree Aerodrome in Hertfordshire, on the northern edge of London. Its website presents door-to-door helicopter travel for both business and leisure passengers.

The company's flights use twin-engine helicopters, which it describes as its fleet. The website does not name the helicopter types or the air operator certificate holder, so it is not clear from public information whether Altair flies the aircraft under its own certificate or arranges them with a partner operator. Flyers should ask which operator and aircraft will carry them before booking.

Typical trips highlighted on the website include flights to major sporting and social events such as the British Grand Prix at Silverstone and Royal Ascot, as well as travel within London and to the Lake District. Helicopter charter of this kind is mainly used to cut road time on short and medium-distance trips across the UK.

No independent sources were found describing the company's history, certifications or years of operation, and the website gives a mobile number and email address rather than a registered company name. Travellers wanting more assurance can ask the company for its operating certificate details and insurance before confirming a flight.
