Business jet operator, manager and VIP terminal at Dubai World Central (DWC)
DC Aviation Al-Futtaim is a joint venture between the German business jet operator DC Aviation and the Dubai-based Al-Futtaim group. It is based at Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central (DWC), where it opened the airport's first business aviation FBO in 2013.
The company offers executive charter and aircraft management, including flight planning, crew services, continuing airworthiness (CAMO) and fuel. It also provides line and base maintenance, hangarage, consulting, and FBO and VIP terminal handling. Owners can place aircraft on a UAE or San Marino air operator certificate, according to its website.
Its charter fleet page lists a Gulfstream G650, a Bombardier Global XRS, a Global 7500, an Airbus A318 Elite+ and a Pilatus PC-12. These range from a six-seat turboprop to a 19-seat airliner-based jet, so the company covers both regional and long-range trips.
The website refers to EASA Part-145 maintenance approval and shows IS-BAH and Air Elite logos. Trade press reports describe the Dubai facility as a 5,700 sqm hangar with a 1,300 sqm VVIP lounge. In 2016 Lufthansa Technik agreed to provide maintenance services at the site.
