Philippine helicopter and fixed-wing charter operator, FBO and maintenance provider
INAEC Aviation Corporation is a Filipino aviation company with operations in Manila, Clark and El Nido, Palawan. It traces its name to the Iloilo-Negros Air Express Company, founded in 1932, which it describes as the first Philippine airline. The current company says it was re-established in 1993.
INAEC holds an Air Operator Certificate and an Approved Maintenance Organization certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. It operates its own helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft for charter, and also offers medical evacuation, aircraft management, line and base maintenance, fixed base operations, ground handling and flight coordination such as overflight permits. A training arm, the Herminio C. Brion Aviation Training Institute, is part of the group.
A large part of its work supports the offshore energy sector. INAEC provides helicopter and logistics services for the Malampaya gas project with Shell Philippines Exploration and PHI International, and it says it has been recognised by Shell for a zero-accident record since 2013. It also flies to El Nido, where it opened a second hangar in 2022, and offers helicopter tours.
On safety standards, INAEC reached IS-BAO Stage 1 in 2019, Stage 2 in 2021 and Stage 3 later, and says it is the only commercial operator in the Philippines at Stage 3. In 2026 Bell Textron named it an authorised Philippine service provider.
The website does not list aircraft types on its main pages, so flyers should ask which aircraft are available for a given route.
