Østnes Helicopters

Østnes Helicopters is a helicopter sales and support company serving the Nordic region, listed in Oslo, Norway. It is the official distributor of Airbus Helicopters for the Nordic countries and describes itself as a one-stop shop for helicopter owners and operators, saying it has served Nordic operators for more than 30 years.

Its core business is aircraft sales. The company sells new Airbus models such as the H125 (AS350), H130 and H145, and also brokers pre-owned Airbus helicopters internationally. Its website cites 156 new H125/AS350, 9 H130 and 19 H145 sold, along with 128 pre-owned Airbus helicopters sold worldwide. An aviation trade report from November 2025 put its combined new and pre-owned sales at more than 400 helicopters.

Alongside sales, Østnes supplies parts and components, including an exchange pool, and runs a maintenance division. According to the same trade report, that division is certified for maintenance on the H120, H125 and H130 and supports the H145. Through the wider Østnes Group, helicopter leasing is offered under the Dragonfly name, and painting under Helipaint.

In November 2025, at the European Rotors show in Cologne, Østnes ordered ten more Airbus H125 helicopters, bringing its 2025 order total to fourteen. The company deals mainly with operators and owners buying or maintaining Airbus single- and twin-engine helicopters. It does not advertise passenger charter.
