Helicopter transfers, tours and special flights arranged from Roma Urbe, Italy
Rome Helicopters is a helicopter services company based at Roma Urbe airport, a short distance from central Rome. Its listed address is Via Salaria 825 in Rome.
The company works as an intermediary: its website states that flights are performed by operators certified by ENAC, the Italian civil aviation authority, that hold an Air Operator Certificate. Rome Helicopters therefore arranges flights rather than operating them under its own certificate.
Flights on offer include point-to-point transfers, sightseeing tours over Rome and the Lazio region, and special missions such as event, filming and aerial photography flights. The company also lists helicopter management and support for buying and selling helicopters.
Aircraft types named on the website range from Robinson R22 and R44 light helicopters to Airbus H125, AS355 and H145 and Leonardo AW109, AW169 and AW139 twins, reflecting the types available through its partner operators rather than an owned fleet.
