Italy Air Service is the trading name of Altair S.r.l., a company with its registered office in Olbia, Sardinia. The PJReviews listing places it at Localita Biriddo near Dorgali, on Sardinia's east coast.
The company arranges helicopter transfers and sightseeing tours, private jet flights and transfers to yachts, and also offers aerial filming and event organisation. Its transfer pages covered destinations including Porto Cervo, Forte Village, Capri, Portofino, Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, Cortina, Monaco, Courchevel and St. Moritz.
The company referred to twin-engine helicopters and to a network of heliports and helipads in Italy, France and Switzerland. It did not publish an operating certificate, and its own site noted that jet flights are subject to confirmation, so flyers should ask which operator will fly a given trip.
Bookings were taken through an online request form, which asked for departure and destination, one-way or return trips, dates, times and up to eight guests, and by phone or email. The company also offered ground excursions and food and wine experiences alongside flights.
