Elicompany S.r.l. is an Italian helicopter operator headquartered in Carpi, near Modena in Emilia-Romagna. It was founded in 1979 by Callisto Forghieri, who still leads the company; a third-party listing says it began with a single Hughes 300 used for agricultural work.
The company operates helicopter charter under its own air operator certificate, IT.AOC.101. Its main services are private transfers between cities, resorts and landing sites, including routes to Sardinia and Corsica, along with sightseeing flights and packaged helicopter experiences.
The fleet listed on its website includes the Bell 427, Bell 407 GX/GXP, Bell 505, Bell 206 and an AgustaWestland AW109S Grand. Elicompany is a Bell approved maintenance centre and maintains its helicopters at its Carpi facility, including for third-party owners, according to the Italian aviation magazine Italiavola.
Besides Carpi, the company lists bases or operating points in Bologna, Lake Como, Lake Garda, Milan, Naples, Olbia, Rome, Tuscany, Venice and Verona. It says its helicopters fly more than 4,000 hours a year in Italy and neighbouring countries.
