Delhi helicopter charter operator for corporate, pilgrimage and survey flights in India
TransBharat Aviation Private Limited is an Indian non-scheduled helicopter operator. Bell describes it as one of the country's most established non-scheduled rotary-wing operators and gives 1990 as its founding year. Its listed office is at Terminal 1 of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport.
According to its website, the company's charter work includes corporate flights, film shoots, weddings, flower drops, election campaign flying and air ambulance missions. It also runs pilgrimage flights to the Char Dham and Do Dham shrines in the Himalayas, LiDAR and other aerial surveys, and helicopter maintenance under a CAR 145 approval.
The website mentions a fleet of three aircraft without naming the types. Bell says the operator has flown the Bell 206B3 and Bell 407. In May 2026, Bell announced that TransBharat had ordered the first Bell 407GXi in India.
The company flies across India, including high-altitude hill operations, utility surveys and corporate transport, and takes part in the government's UDAN regional connectivity scheme.
Flyers can ask which helicopter type will be assigned and which base it will operate from.
