Air Pushpak

Air Pushpak Aviation is an Indian company that markets helicopter charter and related aviation services across India. The listing on file places it in New Delhi; the company website does not give a street address, and its pilgrimage flights depart from Dehradun in Uttarakhand.

A large part of its website is devoted to helicopter pilgrimage packages. These include Char Dham (Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath) and Do Dham (Kedarnath and Badrinath) itineraries that start and end at the Sahastradhara helipad in Dehradun and bundle helicopter transfers with hotel stays, meals and priority temple access.

The company also advertises general helicopter charter, executive transport, aerial wedding and event flights, offshore crew transfers, helicopter air ambulance work and on-demand private jet charter. For pilgrimage routes it says it uses turbine helicopters, mainly the Airbus AS350 B3 and Bell 407.

Its website refers to DGCA compliance and says the fleet operators it uses are vetted against ARGUS, Wyvern and IS-BAO standards, which suggests that at least some flights are arranged with third-party operators. No Non-Scheduled Operator Permit held in the company's own name was found.

Flyers should ask which DGCA-permitted operator will fly the trip before booking.
