Aviation trade magazine Vertical reported in 2019 that it was set up as a joint venture between Blade and the Indian investor Hunch Ventures. This listing is for its office in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The website's footer names Aeroflow Urban Air Mobility.

BLADE India is not an air carrier. Its website describes it as a booking platform, and licensed operators fly the helicopters. Vertical also reported that third-party operators own, maintain and fly the aircraft.

Its services include private helicopter charters within India and abroad, pay-per-seat flights on set routes, Char Dham and other pilgrimage packages, and corporate travel. It also runs BLADE Care, which arranges medical evacuation flights. The website mentions a Beechcraft King Air C90GT, but it does not explain how that aircraft is used.

Indian news outlets have reported several Bengaluru services. These include flights between Kempegowda International Airport and HAL Airport, and scheduled seats to Coorg and Kabini. Flyers should check with the company which routes are running now. They should also ask which operator will fly the trip before booking.
