Helicopter heavy-lift and aerial work services from Ugine, French Alps
Helicomontage is a helicopter aerial work business with an address in Ugine, Savoie, in the French Alps. Its main activity is external-load lifting: placing rooftop HVAC units, towers, crane parts and other heavy equipment in places that are hard to reach by road.
Its website describes lift options ranging from the Airbus H125 (about 1,100 kg at sea level) and Bell 212/214 (about 2,700 kg) to the Super Puma AS332/H215/H225 family (about 4,200 kg), and notes that capacity falls with altitude and temperature. It also lists cabin cargo, express parcel transport, helicopter taxi, and passenger transport for up to 15 people on request.
The company cites more than 30 years of experience in helicopter aerial work. Flyers interested in passenger flights should note that passenger transport is a secondary, on-request service, and should ask which operator and aircraft will perform the flight.
