Helicopter operator in western France with an Arcachon base at Villemarie
Jet Systems Hélicoptères is a French helicopter operator serving Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the wider west of France. Its website says it has been operating since 1986, and an independent activity platform gives the same founding year. This listing covers its Arcachon base at Villemarie aerodrome in La Teste-de-Buch.
The company offers on-demand helicopter flights, sightseeing flights, aerial work, training and consulting. According to its website, public transport and aerial work make up 60 percent of its flight hours and the rest is medical flying for the French emergency services (SAMU/SMUR).
The website reports a fleet of 19 owned helicopters plus four operated for others, and bases at Amboise, Le Mans, La Rochelle, La Baule, Vannes, Dinard and Arcachon-Bordeaux-Biscarrosse, including Biscarrosse Grands Lacs aerodrome.
From Arcachon, sightseeing flights over the Arcachon Basin and the Dune du Pilat are a large part of the offer, sold both directly and through activity booking sites. Point-to-point transfers and event flights can be requested on demand.
The company's air operator approvals are referenced on its website but were not reviewed for this profile.
