Helicopter charter, transfers and sightseeing from Helsinki-Vantaa, Finland
Helsinki Citycopter is a Finnish helicopter company with its main office and flight terminal at Liikelentotie 8 in Vantaa, beside Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Trade press dates the start of operations to 2020, and the company's website states that flights are carried out under a Finnish air operator certificate issued with authorisation from Traficom, the national aviation regulator.
Its core business is helicopter charter. Typical uses include point-to-point transfers, direct connections to the airside of Helsinki-Vantaa for passengers catching onward flights, chauffeured helicopter hire, and flights for corporate and private events. It also sells sightseeing flights over Helsinki and the archipelago, sunset and lighthouse trips, and fly-and-cruise packages.
Destinations promoted on the website include Tampere, Hanko, the Finnish Lakeland, Porvoo, the Åland Islands and Tallinn in Estonia, with longer flights across the Nordics on request. Private jet charter within Europe is offered through a linked brand, ACXJET, and travel management through ACX Access.
In December 2021 the company reported a fleet of Airbus H125, EC120 and Robinson R44 helicopters seating three to five passengers, and announced two Airbus ACH130 helicopters, one purchased and one rented, that would take the fleet to five aircraft. The current fleet may differ, so flyers should confirm the aircraft type and seating when booking.
