Private jet charter, FBO and aircraft management at Hamilton Airport (YHM), Ontario
Jetport is a private aviation business at John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM) in Mount Hope, Ontario. The company says its terminal is about 40 minutes from Toronto, and it presents itself as a private travel option for people in the Greater Toronto Area. According to its website, a business traveller founded the company.
Jetport's main service for flyers is private jet charter, for both business trips and leisure travel. It also sells pre-planned excursion packages and lists empty-leg flights on its site. The company describes itself as having provided charter services in Canada for nearly a quarter century. That is the company's own claim and has not been checked independently.
Jetport also runs a fixed base operator (FBO) at Hamilton. The FBO says it is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, with international access, private arrivals and departures, and direct access to the runway. This means passengers flying from Hamilton can use a private terminal instead of the main commercial airport facilities.
For aircraft owners, Jetport offers aircraft management and maintenance. It says it is an aircraft owner itself and has long experience running charter and fleet operations. The website has an owner login portal for managed-aircraft clients.
This review did not confirm the company's fleet, its operating certificate or any third-party safety audits such as ARGUS, Wyvern or IS-BAO. Flyers should ask Jetport directly whether it operates a given flight under its own Transport Canada air operator certificate or books it with another operator.
