Canadian fractional jet ownership and aircraft management, headquartered in Calgary
AirSprint is a Canadian private aviation company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. It was founded in 2000 by Judson Macor and is described as Canada's first fractional aircraft ownership company. Its business is focused on fractional ownership and on the Canadian market rather than on retail charter.
Under the fractional model, clients buy or lease a share of an aircraft and receive a set number of flight hours each year, with AirSprint managing the aircraft on their behalf. Industry reporting from 2023 describes shares offered either as a capital purchase or a five-year lease, in 25-, 50- or 75-hour plans, with owners able to move between aircraft types.
The fleet is made up of light Cessna Citation CJ2+ and CJ3+ jets and mid-size Embraer Legacy 450/500 and Praetor 500/600 jets. Reported fleet size has grown over time: AirSprint announced its 40th aircraft, a Praetor 600, in early 2025, and a later count lists 43 aircraft.
AirSprint holds a Canadian air operator certificate as well as a US foreign air carrier authorisation. The company lists hubs serving Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and the Maritimes, with offices reported in Calgary, Toronto and Montreal.
The program is aimed at Canadian individuals and companies who fly often enough to prefer a share in a dedicated fleet over booking trips one at a time.
