FBO, maintenance and aircraft charter at Waterloo (CYKF) and London (CYXU), Ontario
Flite Line Services is an aviation business in Southern Ontario, Canada. Its main site is at Region of Waterloo International Airport (CYKF) in Breslau, and it has a second location at London International Airport (CYXU). The company says it has been operating since 1993 and positions Waterloo as an alternative to flying through Toronto Pearson, which is about 45 minutes away by road.
At both airports the company runs a fixed base operation under the Shell AeroCentre brand, with fuel, de-icing, ground handling, ground power, hangar space and passenger and pilot lounges. It also does aircraft maintenance, repairs and inspections on piston, turboprop and jet aircraft, offers after-hours AOG call-outs, and installs avionics as an authorized Garmin dealer.
Charter is offered from both CYKF and CYXU. The company says these flights run under Transport Canada regulations and reach destinations across North America, for business trips, sports teams, golf, fishing and ski trips. Its charter page does not name the aircraft types or fleet size, and it does not give an air operator certificate number.
Other services include a rental club for licensed pilots at CYKF and scenic flights over Niagara Falls, Toronto and the surrounding region. Quotes are requested through the website.
Flyers who want to know which aircraft would fly a trip, and who holds operational control, should ask the company when requesting a quote.
