Helicopter aerial work and charter operator based in Blenheim, Ontario
Zimmer Air Services Inc. is a helicopter operator with its head office and maintenance base in Blenheim, Ontario. The company also lists locations in Thunder Bay and St. Thomas, Ontario, and Outlook, Saskatchewan. Paul Zimmer has been quoted in trade press as company president.
Its main business is aerial work rather than passenger travel. Listed services are aerial application for agriculture, forestry, invasive species and municipal clients, aerial crane work, forestry and mining and exploration support, and aircraft maintenance. Trade coverage describes strong demand for its crop-spraying helicopters from Ontario growers.
Industry reporting puts the fleet at around 13 helicopters, including Robinson R44, Airbus AS350 and Bell 206 types, and the website also shows a Thrush fixed-wing sprayer and an AS355. A federal procurement record shows a helicopter charter contract with Public Works and Government Services Canada.
Private flyers looking for passenger helicopter charter should contact the company directly to confirm availability, as charter appears secondary to its seasonal spraying and utility operations.
