Aeromot

Aeromot is a Brazilian aerospace group based in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, active since 1967. It now trades as Grupo Aeromot Corporate and brings together several businesses covering manufacturing, maintenance, aircraft distribution and aviation infrastructure.

For aircraft buyers, its main relevance is Diamond Aircraft. Aeromot is the exclusive distributor and authorised service centre for Diamond in Brazil, with facilities in Porto Alegre and Belo Horizonte. In 2023 Diamond and Aeromot announced a licence for local assembly of the DA62 twin, with a sales territory covering Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.

The group also performs maintenance, repair and overhaul on aircraft and components, manufactures composite and metal parts, and builds special-mission platforms for defence, public security and health customers. Its VOWE brand offers subscription and on-demand air transport, and the group lists FBO services.

Planned projects include the AeroCITI complex in Guaíba, intended to host the DA62 assembly line. Production and delivery timing for Brazilian-assembled aircraft should be checked with the company, as public announcements gave targets rather than confirmed deliveries.
