Amazonaves

Amazonaves Táxi Aéreo is a Brazilian air taxi company serving the Amazon region. According to its website, it is headquartered in Tefé, Amazonas, has its main operating base in Manaus, and has been working in air taxi services in the region since the 1990s.

The company offers executive passenger charter and cargo transport, from small express shipments to larger loads. Its website also describes an aircraft maintenance workshop approved by Brazil's civil aviation authority ANAC, staffed by an aeronautical engineer, inspectors and mechanics, and training courses for aviation companies on carrying dangerous goods by air.

The website states that the company is certified by ANAC as an air taxi operator, but it does not list aircraft types or fleet size. It describes the fleet only as diverse.

Amazonaves is mainly relevant to travellers and businesses that need air access across Amazonas, where many destinations are hard to reach by road. A 2022 planespotting guide for Manaus airport lists Amazonaves among the smaller air taxi companies operating there.
