Brazilian air taxi company based at Imperatriz airport, Maranhão
Heringer Táxi Aéreo Ltda., which trades as Heringer Aviação, is an air taxi company headquartered in Imperatriz, in the Brazilian state of Maranhão. Public procurement records give its address as Hangar II on Avenida Moacyr Spósito Ribeiro at Imperatriz's Prefeito Renato Cortez Moreira Airport.
In May 2021 Brazil's civil aviation authority, ANAC, authorised the company for five years to provide public air services under its operations specifications. That decision replaced an earlier authorisation granted in September 2016. Unlike a broker, the company operates its own air taxi certificate.
In 2019 the company took part in a public tender for air transport run by the Maranhão Legislative Assembly, which indicates that it bids for government as well as private charter work. Aviation Safety Network also records a 2009 forced landing near Imperatriz involving an Embraer EMB-810C. No fatalities were listed, and CENIPA's investigation is marked complete.
