Rima Aviação

Rima Aviação is the trading name of RIMA - Rio Madeira Aviação Ltda, an air taxi company registered in Porto Velho, Rondônia, in November 2001. It began by serving remote parts of the Brazilian Amazon and now lists bases in Brasília, Goiânia, Manaus, Porto Velho and Boa Vista.

The company flies its own aircraft on charter. Its services cover executive air taxi flights, aeromedical transport and air ICU missions with a medical team, and cargo transport using the full aircraft. It also offers aircraft maintenance and hangar space at its bases, some of which have private waiting lounges.

The fleet shown on its website includes the Beechcraft King Air B200, listed for up to eight passengers, and the Cessna Grand Caravan C208B, listed for up to nine passengers or 1,500 kg of cargo. Both are turboprops suited to shorter runways and regional routes.

Rima advertises 24-hour service and says it has completed more than 10,000 flights. Its network of bases allows it to serve flights across Brazil, with particular depth in the North and Centre-West regions.
