Stellar

Stellar is an aircraft sales business in Barreiras, in western Bahia, Brazil. Its website gives an office on Rua da Prainha in the Morada Nobre district and a hangar at Barreiras airport (ICAO SNDH), and says the team has more than 30 years of experience in the sector.

The company says it focuses only on selling aircraft and related services. Recent listings on its website range from experimental kit aircraft such as the RV-9 and RV-10, through piston types including the Cirrus SR22, Bonanza and Baron 58, up to the TBM 850 turboprop and Citation family light jets such as the CitationJet and Citation Mustang.

Alongside brokerage, Stellar offers aircraft insurance, which it says it has arranged for over ten years in partnership with Rio de Janeiro based Air Oriente, with a particular focus on experimental aircraft. It also provides 'despachante aeronáutico' services, handling transaction paperwork for buyers and sellers.

Aeronautical advisory covering market, technical and documentation checks is included with every sale. Consulting can also be bought separately, even when Stellar is not handling the transaction.

Its listings suit owner-pilots and buyers of light aircraft in Brazil's interior more than buyers of large business jets. It does not offer charter flights.
