Air touring division of Kirkhope Aviation, Moorabbin, with charter via the parent
Australian Air Safaris is the air touring division of Kirkhope Aviation, based at Hangar 7, Moorabbin Airport, south-east of Melbourne. Its website states that it is owned and operated by Kirkhope Aviation, and Kirkhope's own site presents it as the group's air tours arm.
The main product is scheduled small-group air tours with set departure dates, carrying up to about ten passengers, plus custom itineraries. Tours also depart from Bankstown in Sydney and the Gold Coast. Destinations named include the Simpson Desert, Ningaloo Reef, Port Lincoln, Tasmania's islands, the Torres Strait and the outback.
Corporate and private charter is sold under the Kirkhope Aviation name. Kirkhope says its charters depart from Moorabbin and serve business travellers across Australia, golf trips and day flights to Mount Hotham, and it names a King Air among its aircraft.
A CASA air operator's certificate document published on the Australian Air Safaris website, seen only via a search-result snippet, lists Kirkhope Aviation Pty Ltd at Moorabbin for passenger and cargo air transport within Australia.
Flyers wanting a point-to-point charter rather than a tour should book through Kirkhope Aviation directly.
