Arafura Aviation

Arafura Aviation is an air charter company based in Darwin, in Australia's Northern Territory. It flies to communities across the Top End and says it can also pick up customers from other locations in the Territory.

Charters can be one-way pickups or drop-offs, or return trips with a short stop, a full-day stop or an overnight stay. The company says patient travel to and from communities is its most frequent work. It also carries trades workers with bulky equipment, family groups, NDIS clients, pets and general freight, excluding dangerous goods, and handles funeral transport.

The company does not list aircraft models on its website. It mentions wide-door aircraft for awkward loads and says it operates into long or short, gravel or dirt airstrips across more than 50 Northern Territory destinations. It also promotes discounted one-way backcharter seats through an app.

Arafura Aviation states that it is on the Northern Territory Government's panel of approved charter service providers. It is a regional utility charter operator rather than a business-jet provider.
