Helicopter sales, completions and heavy maintenance on Queensland's Sunshine Coast
Pacific Crown Helicopters (PCH) is a helicopter sales, completion and heavy-maintenance business on Queensland's Sunshine Coast in Australia. HeliOps Magazine reports that it was founded in 2003 by Bill Haffner and Ian Simpson, began in a leased hangar at Caloundra and moved in late 2017 to a purpose-built facility with airside access at Sunshine Coast Airport. The listing gives the address as Marcoola, the suburb adjoining the airport.
On the sales side, PCH offers new and pre-owned helicopters, engines and parts. According to HeliOps, it handles sourcing, importing, registering and fitting out aircraft for buyers, and later became a completion centre for new Airbus helicopters sold in Australia.
The company's technical work covers heavy maintenance, repair and overhaul, along with custom interiors, avionics and paint. Its main focus is the Airbus AS350/H125 family, and it also works on most other Airbus Helicopters and Eurocopter models.
The company's website says it is an approved maintenance centre for Airbus Helicopters and Safran Helicopter Engines. HeliOps adds that PCH is a CASA Part 145 approved organisation and has been a Safran approved service centre since 2015.
PCH does not offer passenger charter. Flyers and operators would mainly use it when buying, completing or maintaining a helicopter.
