Turboprop charter operator with a Goulburn, NSW maintenance base and east-coast bases
Corporate Air is an Australian air charter operator that traces its start to 1972, when it was launched by Canberra interests. Goulburn in New South Wales is one of its five listed charter bases, alongside Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne, and is also where the company runs its CASA-approved heavy maintenance facility.
The company operates its own aircraft under what it describes as an airline-category Air Operator's Certificate covering domestic and international flying. Its fleet of 16 turboprops includes Saab 340B+WT airliners, Fairchild Metro 23s and Beechcraft King Air B200 and B250 aircraft, giving a range of cabin sizes for small executive groups through to larger group charters.
Charter work covers corporate travel, fly-in fly-out (FIFO) crew movements and other group trips, mainly across eastern and southern Australia. From Goulburn specifically, the company advertises charters for business, leisure, FIFO, group, tour and freight purposes.
Beyond charter, Corporate Air lists aircraft management, aircraft maintenance for its own fleet and outside clients, FBO and ground handling in Brisbane and Canberra, and flight validation of instrument flight procedures.
The company cites Flight Safety Foundation BARS Gold accreditation on its website.
