JFC Charter Flight Darwin

JFC Charter Flight Darwin is the Darwin base of Jandakot Flight Centre (JFC), a family-owned Australian air charter and freight company. Its Darwin office is at 15 Murphy Drive, Darwin International Airport. The company's main base is at Jandakot Airport near Perth, Western Australia.

According to the company, JFC started in 1996 with one aircraft doing tours and charter flights from Jandakot. In 1998 it bought a flight school with maintenance facilities. It has since grown into a charter and freight business with bases in Perth and Darwin.

From Darwin, JFC offers FIFO crew changes for mining sites, executive and private charters, and government work. It also flies remote community and medical clinic transport, scenic flights over Kakadu, Katherine Gorge and the Tiwi Islands, and round-the-clock urgent hot shot freight. The company says it can carry dangerous goods and live animals. It also says it is approved for Northern Territory Government tenders and is a preferred provider for military and government clients.

JFC presents itself as an operator flying its own fleet of single- and twin-engine piston and turbine aircraft that seat three to twelve passengers. Types listed include the Beechcraft King Air B200, Pilatus PC-12, Cessna 402, Cessna 310, Cessna 210 and Cessna 172. The company notes that the aircraft available can vary. If none of its own aircraft suits a job, it says it will arrange another one at cost.

JFC quotes each trip individually and says it flies across Australia and the Asia Pacific. Its customers include mining, military, government, tourism, charter brokers and freight forwarders. The company's About page lists an Air Operator's Certificate number and an Air Tour Licence.
