The company states plainly that it does not own or operate aircraft. It arranges flights with third-party carriers that hold FAR Part 135 certificates or the foreign equivalent, and those carriers keep operational control of each flight.
Aircraft offered through JETPAX range from light jets to VVIP airliners. The company also helps with trip and destination planning and sells empty-leg one-way flights on aircraft that are already repositioning.
JETPAX says it vets its operators against ARGUS, Wyvern and IS-BAO standards. These are standards applied to the operators, not certifications held by JETPAX itself. Flyers can ask which operator and aircraft will fly a quoted trip and check that operator's audit status.
