Turboprop charter, mining crew shuttles and air ambulance flights from Salta, Argentina
Flytec is an Argentine air transport company founded in 2018 and owned by investors from Salta province. It is based at Martín Miguel de Güemes International Airport in Salta, where it runs its own private terminal, boarding lounge and maintenance workshop.
Most of its work is flying personnel to remote mining projects on high-altitude airstrips in the Puna and the Andes. Regional press also describes charter, executive and medical evacuation flights, and the company's website describes an aeromedical module flown with a partner medical team.
The fleet reported by the company and local aviation press comprises three Beechcraft King Air B200s, three Beechcraft 1900D 19-seat turboprops and a De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 that entered service in March 2026. An Airbus H125 helicopter is being added.
The company's website says it holds BARS (Basic Aviation Risk Standard) accreditation, a safety standard common in mining aviation, and reports more than 400 flights a month above 10,000 feet. Travellers looking for a private flight in north-west Argentina, particularly to the Puna, would contact the company directly for availability.
